Dedicated to improving musculoskeletal care for all patients through community-based research and education for over 30 years.

Established in 1990, the Slocum Foundation works to advance musculoskeletal care by conducting high quality clinical research, providing medical education, and building up our local community through strong partnerships. The organization is named in honor of Dr. Donald B. Slocum who was a world-leader in the field of orthopedics. Through this, we carry on the commitment to innovation and prioritize the advancement of patient care.

The Slocum Foundation’s skilled team of Certified Clinical Research Coordinators, Research Assistants, and Interns work together with the Board of Directors to select and engage with clinical research and education opportunities for the benefit of their community.
